Hi, I’m Martin Cox, an electronics and hardware engineer with a deep curiosity for how things work, from radio protocols to power supplies to the hidden infrastructure that keeps the internet running.
I’ve spent years building and analysing hardware systems end-to-end: embedded firmware, RF calibration, regulatory compliance, manufacturing test setups, and large-scale IoT deployments. I enjoy taking complex technical topics, whether it’s wireless range optimisation, or designing safe mains circuitry.
Outside of engineering, I’m interested in travel, fitness, cooking, personal finance. This blog is a place for me to simply journal and take notes, when I’m working on side projects, or learning for fun.
